Step into the shoes of history's most fascinating figures in this 8-session homeschool class! Students will dive deep into the lives of famous historical figures, researching and crafting their stories. Through creative storytelling, acting, and collaboration, they’ll bring these icons to life in an engaging, interactive play or story. The class culminates in a "Living Museum" where each student presents their historical figure in character, offering a captivating experience for family and friends. Perfect for budding historians and performers alike! 

Key Highlights: 

  • Research & Discovery: Students choose a historical figure and engage in in-depth research to uncover the person’s life, accomplishments, and impact. 

  • Creative Writing & Storytelling: Develop skills in writing and storytelling by crafting a compelling narrative for their character. 

  • Interactive Performance: Students act out scenes from history, immersing themselves in the world of their chosen figure. 

  • Collaborative Learning: Work with peers to develop the script and rehearse for a final performance, fostering teamwork and communication. 

  • Living Museum Presentation: The class concludes with a unique “Living Museum” event, where students dress as their figures and share their stories in a captivating, interactive way. 

  • Critical Thinking & Public Speaking: Enhance research, analytical thinking, and public speaking skills by presenting historical narratives to an audience.
