Bridge for Beginners – Make new friends and stay mentally sharp. This 8-lesson class is aimed at bridge novices and will start by teaching students how to play bridge hands then advance and teach simple bidding techniques as well as simple declarer and defense play. Students will spend a significant time each class practicing what they learn in the lesson and at the end of this introductory course students will be able to get together with class participants or other bridge enthusiasts and play some bridge. If there is enough interest this beginner class will be followed by an intermediate class. Warning bridge can become addictive!
