WordPress is the most used CMS system in the world. In this course you will learn how to add new & edit existing content including pages, blogs & media, basic customization of themes, plugins, site and user setup, site security, and how to fix common issues. This course prepares you for the Knowledge Pillars Web Certified Editor with Word Press Certification.  The attainment of the WCE certification proves competency at an industry-standard level and the readiness to enter the job market. Hiring managers can use this certification as a means of justifying recruitment, as well as an index for the placement of a job seeker in a job. 

This is a hybrid instructor-led course.  Participants may join either in-person or online.  Scholarships are available for those that qualify.  Certification testing is included in tuition and is a requirement for program completion.   Participants will attend course sessions for 8 weeks and should expect to commit twenty-five hours per week to this training, both inside and outside of the classroom.

ALL participants are REQUIRED to sit for the certification test.  The test date will be announced the first week of class.
