
The
Emerging Technology Camp is for
both middle & high school kids entering 6th - 12th grade.
This camp includes: Robotics, 3D Printing, Virtual Reality, Entrepreneurship, and Manufacturing Tour.
With a focus on emerging technology, this camp provides exposure and hands-on training focused on hot, new technologies interconnected with Virtual Reality. Hands-on activities include robotics, engineering, coding, simulation and modeling, 3D printing, and immersive virtual environments. Campers will understand the safety requirements needed to responsibly use tools in a lab.
The topic of emerging technology will be explored through project-based learning, and by the end of this week, campers will have coded and produced their own cinematic content using iMovie software! They will have also maufactured their own product designs using Arduino Microprocessors to under the Internet of Things (IoT)! Campers will engage in an entrepreneurial environment in which they explore manufacturing processes from idea to market.
Remember, there is only 1 rule of STEM camp: Respect! (Respect yourself, respect others, and respect equipment.)
