
The
Manufacturing and Engineering Camp is for
high school kids entering 8th - 12th grade.
This camp includes:
o Use of Arduino Robotics
o Additive manufacturing using 3D Printers and Solidworks
o Explore entrepreneurship presentations in Virtual World
Hands-on activities include robotics, engineering, coding, simulation and modeling, drones, 3D printing, laser cutting, vinyl cutting, and immersive virtual environments. Campers will understand the safety requirements needed to responsibly use tools in a lab.
The topic of Manufacturing and Engineering will be explored through project-based learning, and by the end of this week, campers will have assembled, coded, and competed with their own robots! They will have also maufactured their own product designs using 3D printers! Campers will engage in an entrepreneurial environment in which they explore manufacturing processes from idea to market.
Remember, there is only 1 rule of STEM camp: Respect! (Respect yourself, respect others, and respect equipment.)
